Buddhist love to think of themselves as being kind. It almost - TopicsExpress

Buddhist love to think of themselves as being kind. It almost becomes an obsession in itself as we become scared to open our mouths in case we offend anyone or cause them harm. We are encouraged not to be critical of the institutions, in fact their are rules and regulations to prevent criticism. It is my view, that the greatest kindness you can ever do is to be truthful, to tell it how it is, how you experience it and not be concerned with what any other person thinks of you. Is our practice to be liked, loved, thought well of? Or is it to engage with reality? Collusion is never kindness.
