Buddy Flett "Rough Edges" Recommended! ‘Chef Suggestions’: A Weekly List of New Releases Well, with the void created by the disappearance of Bluesville’s ‘Picks to Click’ (not to mention Bill Wax’s departure) there have been discussions about the void that has been created for the artists and how best to fill it. For those of you who don’t know “Picks To Click” was the go to spot for newly released CD’s. So Blues411 has decided to do it’s part by creating ” Chef Suggestions” which will feature new releases in our files from artists around the world as well as around the block. While we are not a radio station, nor do we play songs, we are privy to many releases. By doing this list we hope to keep you up to date on these new releases. NEW: Artists are linked to their web sites for easy access to their music and bios, touring info (where available) etc., – truly a real pick to click (on)! We have columns denoting their former spot for comparison to their current rating. With ’13′ being my favorite number we pared the listing down to that number, and will still include a secondary list and have titled them ‘Tasty Additions’, these are almost ready for the main menu. There is no set number for this group it depends on what is going on with new releases. We thank each of you – artists, fans, labels, promoters for keeping this tradition alive. Much like the Blues itself things change, morph and evolve and so to keep it alive & thriving so must we.
