Buhl School District Strategic Plan The Buhl School District is asking for input on a plan that will provide direction for the next five years. School leaders are in the planning phase for a new strategic plan, which will run from 2015 through 2020. The district will be launching a series of community meetings, which will run through late November. Community members are invited to fill out a survey on the school district’s website about key issues. Surveys are also available at all schools and the district office. We want as much input as we can get from as many people as we can. The district will host three community round-table sessions. Then, school trustees and community members will review a draft plan. School officials are aiming to have a plan completed in February. Now, every Idaho school district is required to put together a long-term plan — a requirement of a new law this year. The school district is working with the Idaho School Boards Association for the upcoming strategic plan. Our current plan has 6 key Goals, Goal 1: College, Career and Life Ready, Goal 2: Quality Education and Learning Opportunities, Goal 3: Quality Personnel, Goal 4: School/Community/Public Relations, Goal 5: School Environment and Facilities, and Goal 6: Stewardship of Resources.
