Buju Banton Prosecutor Tells Court He Will Not Prosecute Juror The prosecutors in Buju Banton’s ongoing high profile drug trial have declined to prosecute juror Terri Wright for criminal contempt. According to a document filed, the United States government has also opposed Buju’s appeal for a new trial. Buju Banton’s attorney Chokwe Lumumba who was recently appointed Mayor in Mississippi has since advised the reggae entertainer to seek other legal counsel. Terri Wright told a reporter for a South Florida newspaper that she researched the case, apparently during the trial. Buju Banton is serving a 10-year prison sentence on two drug charges.
