Bullets supporters attack Mzuzu United players Mzuzu United players have been injured by alleged Big Bullets fans when they wanted to train at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre ahead of their Super League match at the same venue on Saturday. Mzuzu United vice team manager George Sumaili explained that what led to the ugly scenes was when their team stormed Kamuzu Stadium to train ahead of their game. “We arrived at the stadium with an aim to train as we are allowed to do so, but to our dismay we find Bullets supporters who insisted that we should not train but we managed to overpower them by entering inside the stadium,” he said. He went on to state that when his players started jogging the alleged Bullets fans carried stones, bottles and tools before grabbing four players, Peter Kasongo, Bruno Kamanga, Mada Kaonga and Chimwemwe Kasambara. “They have injured our four players and this is uncalled for because this stadium does not belong to them. The other sad thing is that the players who have been injured are our key players and we do not know whether we will honour the fixture or not,” he said. Mzuzu United reported the matter of assault to Police.
