Bullying is nothing new ... just a slight bit better publicized now. I know. I was stoned, kicked, bullied and taunted for weeks by kids early in elementary school for being the new one in school. Had a whole gang of them follow me with this from school one day, nearly all the way home. And, when I told my Mom about it, she said I was lying or exaggerating. LISTEN to your kids! Talk with them about this stuff AND the need for them to share with you if its happening. And, report this awful abuse when its happening, or even suspect. Kids never deserve this.
