Bump of Chicken so s svojo glasbo aktivno prisotni na japonski glasbeni sceni že od leta 2000. Ker je med člani kar nekaj ljubiteljev anime in mang, so bili sami veseli, da se njihove pesmi uporabijo tudi, kot uvodne pesmi v anime, kot so One Piece,Tales of the Abbys, in 3D animiranemu filmu Doraemon: Nobita and the New Steel Troops: ~Winged Angels~.
