Bureaucracy at its finest. In december I called the borrough to request that I no parking sign as well as appropriate painting be done on a space that is between the sidewalk and my parking space. At times, pple would park there and be a nuisance (ie once someone parked so close to my car that I couldnt get in). Since there is no indication that they cannot park, I cannot have they towed away or fined. After two follow up calls, I decide to go directly to their office in may. They told me the marking contracts were handed in june so nothing would be done before end of june. Mid july, I call back as still nothing is done. Then follow - up early august for another call. The request is under study and someone is handling it. Well, theres about two-three months left before someone decides to do something about the damn thing, cause then its winter. So here I am taking friendly wagers as to something will be done about this (either being told no it cant be done or having it done) before we reach the 12 months period.
