#Burswood traffic charges - About 9.20pm last night (04/07/13) a motorcycle officer from the Traffic Enforcement Group tried to pull over a Navara Ute on Great Eastern Highway, Burswood. The vehicle failed to stop and escaped. A short time later Police were advised that the vehicle had crashed into a gate in Bow River Crescent, Burswood. The same officer attended, got off his motorcycle and directed the driver of the ute to stop. The vehicle was driven at the officer before veering away and driving off. It was abandoned nearby on The Circus, Burswood and the driver ran off. Officers from the Vehicle Crime Unit arrested the driver after a foot chase. A 24 year old male from #Rivervale has been charged with Excess 0.08%, Fail to Stop, and Act or Omission Likely to Endanger, Injure or Harm. He will appear at the Perth Magistrates Court on 24 July 2013.
