Bush was screaming for a full audit in 2004 and 2005 of HUD, Fannie and Freddie. But DEMOCRATS Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd ran interference to prevent it. Cuomo who at that time ran HUD created a program to increase their percentage of mortgage loans for low- and moderate-income families from 42 percent to 50 percent. It was nothing more than a huge Ponzi scheme to buy $2.4 trillion in mortgages over 10 years. All this was , was a Democrat scheme to get votes. Bush Admin pleading with Ginnie Mae and Fannie Mae to clean their act up and to audit them. But to audit and reign in this monster the Republicans would be labeled racists and after all stopping lower income Americans from realizing home ownership is racist…..yea right. The typical liberal comeback and mantra is the race card ….You show me a “lower income” family and I’ll show you someone who could never pay back the mortgage in a million years. Now with your President Obama adding to the smoke and mirrors of the financial posture of the US once he leaves you will find out how bad things are and the damage will be revealed. He has set the US back at least 25 years of prosperous economic movement in a forward direction. His kind no matter where they are and what they do always will screw up, look at Detroit, New Orleans, Washington dc, their list of failures is larger than their list of successes. Now Couple this with vote fraud by ACORN and George Soros money one gets a political system this corrupt to its core.
