Busia government to petition Knec over cauncellation of KCSE results By Grenis Nyaboke Busia County government plans to petition KNEC over cancellation of 2013 KCSE results. This has been disclosed by Deputy governor Kizito Wangalwa after leading the county team to Butula Boys and Bumala A.C. Secondary which were adversely affected by the cancellation. Results for 117 candidates from four schools in the county were cauncelled with Butula having results of its 54 candidates and Bumala 61 cauncelled. At Butula, School Principal Dick Maroko wondered how Kiswahili of all subjects could be nullified and blamed one of the exam supervisors for having sworn to mess the results of the school. Wangalwa said the County government will ensure justice is done in having KNEC reinstate the results of the affected students. Should the examination body fail to accede to our demands, the County government will see to it that the students go back to their respective schools and re-sit for the exams, he said.
