Business Analyst Cape Town R45 000-R65 000 p.m A fast growing Asset Management firm with R100bn worth of assets under management is looking for a Business Analyst. Its software has been developed in-house and the proprietary algorithms and systems have provided a competitive advantage in the market. Up until now, all requirement gathering has been done by a combination of business subject matter experts, product owners and software developers. As the company makes a leap to the next level of systems maturity, you would be establishing and growing a professional business analysis competency within the organization at an exciting time in its history. The day to day job will include running workshops, meetings, demos and giving feedback to the stakeholders in order to build a shared understanding of the requirements, validate them and document them. The documents required are at the level of business requirement and functional specification, but not technical. Some of your interaction will be with our marketing and design team to determine design and brand constraints, and devise software user experiences that conform to them. During development sprints, you will work closely with a team of developers and testers to support their understanding of the requirements, and make decisions in conjunction with business on specific details. You will act as the liaison between the business units, technology team and support teams.
