Business Development & Marketing Representative needed for a reputable company in the Inland Empire. PAY RATE $30 to $40K a year WORK SCHEDULE Work Days: Monday- Friday Shift: Day Hours per week: 40 hours BENEFITS Health Ins., Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify new clients and projects using various prospecting tools: Internet, publications, email, telephone, etc. Use your internet research skills to identify new clients and projects, pursue in-person meetings In-person meetings (usually with the support of a Company Project Manager) with current and potential clients Focus on current customer base to increase loyalty, so you’ll be “in the know” about their new projects “Closing” means setting potential new customer meetings with Company project managers, who handle estimating & bidding Maintain database of customer information Ensure detailed & timely customer information about potential projects are given to Company project managers Some participation in construction job walks Identify & participate in trade shows and other local events appropriate for advertising our construction services Enhance organization reputation with your responsible, knowledgeable and professional communication, and your impeccable customer service Update your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in local professional organizations Monitor, assemble, and distribute Company promotional info packets Monitor Company website and interface with webmaster QUALIFICATIONS 2-5 years’ experience in an entry-level, customer-facing, sales & marketing oriented position Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent marketing industry Self-motivated, self-starter, self-directed: Looking for your next challenge! Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficient with internet research Familiar with CRM software, building databases, using CRM software to track and contact clients(training provided if needed) Detail-oriented Great written and verbal communicator Great person-to-person communication style, professional presentation (we’re typically business casual but you’ll replicate the style of our customers!)
