Business Development Specialist Competitive Base plus commission We are a boutique staffing firm specialized in staffing for small to medium sized firms located all over the Portland Metro Area. We are looking to add a team member with experience in customer service, consultative sales, relationship building, and who is excited to learn a very lucrative career. We would like someone who always strives to do their personal best, someone with good listening abilities and the drive to help solve our clients staffing needs as if they were in their shoes. Training is very hands on and will evolve, so best suited for someone open minded and with the ability to deal with gray areas and ask questions. Initially, your position will feel like your building relationships primarily over the phone 80% of the day and the other 20% interviewing prospective candidates. Once you are established 70% of the day is spent talking to your established clients and assisting them in getting their positions filled, 10% doing phone sales, and 20% interviewing candidates. You can expect to be inside the office making contacts 80% of the time and meeting with clients and/or doing networking events the remaining 20%. Job # 2420.
