Business Strategy and Planning Manager Kenana Engineering & Technical Services Co Kenana Engineering & Technical Services (KETS) Company is looking for proactive & energetic candidates whom have the relevant educational background, competencies and experience to fill the following positions: Business Strategy and Planning Manager Location: Khartoum Number of Vacancies: 1 Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Ensure the implementation of best practice strategy development process - Ensure that all KETS’s activities fulfill the company’s vision and strategic direction - Ensure all planning exercises are carried out timely and regularly, such as reviews of the 5 and 10 year plan and the annual strategic planning process - Responsible for the initial development of strategic projects up to implementation - Ensure strategic initiatives are implemented through the investment management, PMO and other relevant units - Develop and implement a Strategic Direction Framework for KETS including responsibilities for implementation of strategic initiatives within the business development department, approval process and implementation partners - Critical review of available tools and methodologies to develop KETS approach to strategy development - Define and implement a business benefits realization monitoring process - Develop a timeline detailing what activities will be carried out to achieve functional objectives (management strategy meetings, etc) - Develop and institutionalize a process for reviewing and updating the company’s 5/10 year strategic plan - Develop and implement the annual strategic planning process - Ensure recommendation of potential business opportunities are translated into appropriate business cases for implementing strategic initiatives Minimum Qualification & Knowledge & Experience: - Minimum of Bsc in respective field. - At least 10 years’ experience in business strategy and planning related areas - Good knowledge of the overall strategy development methodologies and business planning - Good knowledge: PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project. - Knowledge of project management methodologies is an added value Competencies: - Possess leadership and communications skills and the ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments and cultures. - Strong planning, organizing and budget management skills. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Effective at coordinating virtual resources, working effectively across teams - Analytical skills, problem solving, delivering results and excellent services capabilities. - Good knowledge in market survey and forecasting. - Good statistics and report design, and assessment of gathered information.
