Business Tip of the Day: Learn to tell Stories. Why? Because you can show people what is possible and there is passion and emotion that comes through. Teaching people theory is one thing. Talking about a comp plan is great, all the facts and figures, charts, numbers, percentages...etc.....but talking about a single mom who was a former Applebys waitress who made $1,200 a month and borrowed $500 to start her business and has now earned more than $900,000 in 3.5 years, THAT shows people whats possible. Or that guy who earns an extra $1,000 a month to help pay bills and get out of debt. Or if you are in weight loss, for example - showing someone the products, ingredients, labels - blah blah blah is one thing. Showing a picture of a 26 year old who lost her dad and grandmother in their 40s to obesity that lost 220 pounds, THAT shows people what is POSSIBLE. Or the mom that just dropped below her pre-pregnancy weight in a matter of months. Or that husband (mine) who lost 67 pounds and went from OBESE to the best shape of his life in 18 months... Tell YOUR story, tell your uplines story. Tell anyones story that made an impact on you. Learn to be a Story Teller. REMEMBER THIS: 93% of whether someone says yes or no to you is your posture and tone of voice. Only 7% is facts. Stories relay posture, belief, conviction and passion - and that is what people buy. People dont care WHAT or HOW you do what you do, they care WHY you do it. Happy Monday!
