Busy day today for Malban! Driving the road to Jericho and hearing shocking tales of land grabbing, water control and its denial, denial of access to Jerusalem, places to work and farmland, and land agreements forcefully ignored. We are appalled. We also experienced Jericho (oldest continually inhabited city), Hishams Palace, being at sea level and then descending another 1200m, Bedouins, roadside coffee vendors, Mount of Temptation (some of us didnt fair well!!), and a float and mudbath in the Dead Sea. We also saw about 5 rainbows today over Palestine; we can only hope that this is a good omen for the lovely people of this fascinating land.
