Some Christians sharpen you and bring you closer to God; others call themselves Christians because they once said a prayer or occasionally go to church. It can be hard to live as God leads you around that kind of Christian, since we are influenced by how our friends live their lives. They have helped me to follow Christ more closely, because when you are surrounded by temptations and secular worldviews, you know you need Christ in order to stand and not fall.
