But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. -Ephesians 4:7 Wow! The grace were given is measured out to us according to the Gift of Christ... so the grace I have is perfect. And unending. It never runs out. The gift of Jesus was a perfect sacrifice to take away our sins forever. It was truly the gift that keeps on giving! No matter how many times we stumble, grace is greater! Grace will always pick us up one more time than we fall. You can fall 1,000,000 times and grace lifts you up 1,000,001 times. Thank God that he isnt fair. Fair would mean we get what get what weve earned. Death. Grace stands in the gap for us. Grace served our sentence and continually pays the bail. But it doesnt stop there... it has our records erased and gives us a fresh start daily. We cant begin to calculate the measure if grace we have been given! It is measured by the cross, by the greatest gift given to humanity! You cant measure the cost of the cross. One gift that was enough to supply the entire earth until the end of it. There are 7 billion people on earth. Think about a gift that can supply them continually. Its immeasurable. Take hold of grace. Never let it go. Use grace to pull you up out of sin, not an occasion to get a free pass. Give grave to others according to the measure youve been given by God. Tell everyone you know about this grace. Everyone on this earth, all 7+billion of them, need this grace. They need the cross. They need Jesus. Not religion, not government, not programs. They need the grace giver, and they need an army of REAL Christians SHOWING them what grace in action looks like. The church (each and every believer) needs to grasp what weve been given, and shine that light to everyone else. It breaks my heart when I see people reject the gift of Grace. We must ask ourselves where we would be if not for grace. To wrap this up Ill say this: Grace cant be separated from love. If you dont deal with people with Grace, can you honestly say you love them (as were commanded to)? The gift of Christ was the cross, the most perfect example of Love and Grace the world has ever seen.
