Buzzfeed list that made me tear up...maybe because I saw so much love yesterday...there was the most beautiful thanksgiving dinner last night. I pulled up to St. Benedicts and there were school busses filled with people from Keansburg I knew from St. Marks soup kitchen, people from Keyport I havent seen since the shelter those first few days...RAINE made that happen. I meet with Carl who shows me a flier Mark Zielinski did for Gigis place-Jakeabobs Bay and shes opening up her BUSINESS on Mondays and Tuesdays as a COMMUNITY restaurant for UB residents...with a hinting of opening it up beyond...as if doing this in the first place required some kind of explanation to everyone else. :) I am blown away. Ive frantically been looking for a stove for a woman whose ability to provide a beautiful loving home for her young son and grandchild involves cooking! She has no stove and last night with the help of many friends, we got her a gas stove. Now she will have a thanksgiving meal to prepare. My new friend Christine was on Craigslist and on her Jersey Shore gives back page that she runs for FREE and got us an oven. Today 2 men who have no reason to drive out to Neptune in a truck will bring that heavy stove to her home. I called them at 10pm... Who does these things? This was one day! People have such love inside them to shine out-God made us in his image and he IS love. Im gonna do something random today. Im gonna do something for somebody I dont know...something nice.
