By Amgad Sultan Gourmet Cooking Made Easy ... I ran into a good friend of mine who inspired me to develop and post gourmet recopies that need only 20 minutes to prepare. I did that on facebook and started getting phone calls and encouragements from a number of people. Another friend of mine asked me to start a blog and compile all those daily recopies. I had recently lost some weight and to make sure I do not gain them back, I developed a number of menus of gourmet meal recopies that when eaten in moderate portions helped me maintain my new weight. I put all of the above together, and decided to take a journey with you; we will cook together delicious and healthy meals that need only 20 minutes. If you like it, we may then start adding a little bit of sophistication to the recopies until the chef in you is unleashed. Following the recopies I had posted so far: Thai Curry Chicken with Basmati rice August 26, 2013 Gourmet tender chicken breasts, deSIAM yellow (or red if you want it hot) curry paste, deSIAM coconut milk, Pak Choi, Bamboo shoot strips, Abu Kass Sella Basmati Rice and Enso bamboo chopsticks set. Cut the chicken into cubes and fry in vegetable oil. Add everything else until it boils. Serve. Boil rice as is, then serve. Tuna Steaks served with Potatoes wedges and Asparagus August 27, 2013 Poseidon Tuna Steaks, deSIAM Oyster Sauce, deSIAM Sweet Chili Sauce, Seedless Lemon, Iliada Kalamata Xtra Virgin Olive Oil, Maldon Sea Salt Crystals, Lamb Weston Seasoned Wedges, Fresh Green Asparagus, butter. Mix oyster sauce, sweet chili sauce, lemon, olive oil, and salt together. Use mix to marinate Tuna steaks. Grill and serve. Fry wedges and serve. Boil asparagus for 4 minutes, and then fry with butter and salt. Serve. Tenderloin Steak, spinach, and Pasta with Truffle August 28, 2013 Chilled Aussie Beef Fillet Steaks, Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce, Iliada Xtra Virgin Olive Oil, Maldon Sea Salt Crystals, Maldon Organic Black Pepper, Tajarin Italian Pasta with Black Truffle, Baby Spinach, and Butter. Rub steak with Worcestershire sauce, then olive oil, then sea salt and organic pepper. Grill to medium (or better yet BBQ on a Weber Grill). Serve. Boil Pasta as per instructions on pack; add olive oil and sea salt. Serve. Put spinach in pan together with butter sea salt and organic pepper, wait for like 4 minutes, and stir well. Serve. Stir-Fry Shrimp with Glass Noodles August 29, 2013 Poseidon Peeled Tail On (or tail off as you like) Shrimp, Iliada Kalamata Xtra Virgin Olive Oil, deSIAM Ginger stir-fry paste, Thai Easy-Wok sauce, Coconut Milk, Maldon Sea Salt Crystals, Pak Choi, Bamboo Shoot Slices, Vermicelli Glass Noodles, Enso bamboo chopsticks set. In a wok, stir fry shrimp olive oil, ginger paste, easy-wok sauce, bamboo shoot, and salt. Add coconut milk (not too much), bring to boil and add pak choi. Boil water in kettle, and then pour over glass noodles. Leave to cook on its own. Add stir-fry to glass noodles and serve. Use a nice size bowl and chopsticks; presentation will enhance taste. Cesar Salad and Pizza August 30, 2013 Organic Cherry Tomatoes, Red Cabbage / carrot / Lettuce salad ready mix, Smoked Chicken Breast Slices, Picagrill Natural Croutons, Kuhne American Caesar salad dressing, La Cucina Di Vita Pizza (your choice of Quattro Formaggio / Rucola e Grana Padano / Margherita / Tonno). Mix all (except the pizza) and serve. Place pizza in oven as per instructions on the carton, and serve. Shish Kebab with Egg Rice August 31, 2013 Chilled Aussie Beef Traditional Kofta Skewer, Arabic Veal Kebab (or Hot & Spicy Veal Kebab if you love them hot), Abu Kass Sella Basmati Rice, Green Beans, Eggs, Maldon Sea Salt Crystals, Maldon Organic Black Pepper, Butter. Grill Kofta, Kebab and (preferably BBQ on a Weber grill). Serve. Cut beans in half and boil for 4 minutes. Cook Rice (boil till cooked). Put rice in frying pan. Add butter, beans, eggs, salt and pepper. Keep stirring for a few minutes till eggs are cooked. Serve. Lasagna and Chicken September 1, 2013 Bertagni Ricotta Spinach Lasagna, Gourmet Tender Chicken Breasts, Maille Mustard Ancienne, Dina Farms Natural Yoghurt, Maldon Sea Salt Crystals, Maldon Organic Black Pepper, Iliada Kalamata Xtra Virgin Olive Oil. Put Lasagna as is with its carton in the oven. Serve. Mix mustard, yoghurt, sea salt, pepper, and a bit of olive oil together. Marinate chicken in mix. Grill (or BBQ). Serve. Kashmiri Beef Cubes with Basmati Rice September 2, 2013 Chilled Aussie Beef Cubes (requires slow cooking), OR Chilled Aussie Beef Fillet Cubes (cooks quicker), Raj Masala Kashmiri Korma Curry Paste, deSIAM Coconut Milk, Pitted American Prunes, California Almonds Raw in Halves, Maldon Sea Salt Crystals, Gourmet Sliced Jalapeno (add only if you really want it hot), Abu Kass Sella Basmati Rice, Vegetable Oil. Stir Fry beef cubes in vegetable oil, add Kashmiri Curry paste, coconut milk, sea salt, prunes and almonds. Allow time to cook slowly. Add Jalapenos to make it seriously hot (optional). Serve.
