Where do they think all the crud we create with our DIY and our motors ? IN OUR COUNTRYSIDE ! Just been down the tip, and those bins concerned are virtually empty. Do they think weve stopped producing it...wheres it all going? The best thing theyve done is to have a review in six months! The new charges.......... Asbestos Bonded type only £10.10 per sheet or bag A small domestic roofing sheet is approximately 180cm x 90cm. You will be charged for any item the site staff believes contains asbestos. All asbestos must be double wrapped/bagged in strong plastic. Plasterboard Including gypsum related products £4.40 per sheet /bag A standard large sheet is approximately 240 cm x 120 cm. We can only take plasterboard if it’s separate from other materials. Tyres Motor vehicle tyres £3.20 per tyre We can’t take commercial and agricultural vehicle tyres. No charge for bicycle tyres. Soil/rubble Including bricks, breeze blocks, concrete, drainage pipes (ceramic/porcelain), gravel, hardcore, paving slabs, rubble, sand, sanitary ware (ceramic/porcelain toilets, bidets, sinks, shower trays, pipes, etc), soil, slates/slabs, stones, tarmac, tiles (ceramic, porcelain, floor, roof, wall) and turf £1.75 per sack A sack is a small plastic sand/aggregate bag from standard DIY stores that can be safely lifted by one person.
