By Bengamin Rush..... I want you to think about something. And I am directing this primarily at those of you who routinely bash the Republican Party and demonize Republicans as being just as bad as Democrats. While the news has been dominated by ISIS, Ray Rice, Ebola and other things, there has been a push in the US Senate to essentially rewrite our 1st Amendment and give the government power to ban free speech it does not approve of, under the guise of campaign finance reform. This bill would have invalidated the core principles of the 1st Amendment entirely. Every Democrat in the Senate voted for this. Every single one. Every Republican in the Senate voted against it, yes even every last RINO. And because every Republican voted against it, the bill didnt pass. Thank you GOP. Thats why Im a Republican. Thats why I vote Republican. And thats why I will continue to vote Republican.
