By Deven Khatri I really feel bad when i see some sort of disturbances in around Pharma industries here in sikkim. I wonder who are to be blamed ? the Companies management or the govt. one, who keeps checks and controls over them. I believe both of them are too busy making money that the welfare and the necessities of the workers are ignored. I have seen the govt. authorities comming for inspection , but they just meet the HR and the plant head and return back or the companies preventatives going with gifts and c... not a big deal .... not only them but their family too benifits from the same . air tickets. hotel reservations etc ...Environment, FDA, Power, commercial tax and so much more... i wonder if the govt policy was such that the companies dont have to pay such huge amount then we would definitely roar back at them to improve the basic nacessaties of the workers.. after all the companies too are here to make business.. i wonder if we would have been involved then we would definately pointed out the flaws.. feel great that these companies are here, look around people here are some sikkimese who are being paid over 50000 as well... what if we would divert more and more sikkimese here.. Its time.. Now or Never... Jai Sikkim..
