By Johnny Lott: WOW - A big thanks to DANTE RIVERA CEDRRON who got the ENTIRE film LONGSHOT posted on YouTube. Watch for me quickly in early minutes team on right. I was hired as technial advisor and did all the offscreen ball control shots passes and the final aireal. (story below) Look for recently deceased Danny Brown and Warrior CEOBrendan Flaherty and many more top TS pros in it. So,me good foos stuff silly movive however.Enjoy! THANKS DANTE LONGSHOT Foosball Movie 80s Starring Leif Garret and Linda Manz. Back Story: I was hired as consultant to do the trick shots and teach Leif Garret and Linda Manz (of The Wanderers and Days of Heaven) to play. It was decided I would shoot an aerial for the finale of the big pro tournament they would win. I had never practiced or shot an aerial as its a novelty shot not used in tournament play. But I knew I could learn it for the scene. Silly me (I went to film school) forgot they do not shoot scenes in sequence, and on the first day of the Major Tournament TS had staged just for the movie, I was approached by EW Swackhammer veteran TV director. He asked me Are you ready to shoot that final scene today I have hired a special Slow Motion Camera/Operator for the shot? I replied honestly(in shock) NO I havent even practice it at all! He quickly turned threw some papers he had been holding and cursed to high heaven! So, I went off on a table and practiced the shot for the first time ever for an hour. A few hours later with about two hundred foosers and extras filling the bleachers (of the famous Hollywood Paladium where THE BEATLES played) with a loud whirring sound of a slow motion camera in my ear and the camera man balancing the weight of the camera on my left shoulder, I hit the aerial shot on the first take! In my many years as a professional player and several World Titles I have never performed successfully under more pressure than that day! While the players were cheering loudly, (the movie final scene called for that) I turned walked straight out of the huge open back door and looking to the sky said THANK YOU GOD! The director tried for an hour to get a backup second shot on film but I never hit it again! JL https://youtube/watch?v=VBLBZhzcG_A
