By next year you could earn a Master of Science in Conservation Leadership! There is still time to apply --- start an application today! Colorado State University’s Conservation Leadership through Learning (CLTL) Program is looking for individuals who are passionate about environmental issues, who think on a global scale, and who know that making a difference starts on the ground. We offer three different program options: CLTL Independent – Complete your Master’s work in less than 17 months, carrying out a project with an organization of your choice. Students complete 9 months of coursework at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and then undertake an independent conservation project in partnership with an organization of their choice. Organizations can be within the USA or abroad. Students receive a Masters of Science in Conservation Leadership. CLTL – Mexico- Receive two Master of Science degrees in Conservation Leadership; one from Colorado State University and the other from El Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR). This unique program includes 9 months of on-campus coursework at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO as well as coursework at ECOSUR in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. For their final projects students work with organizations in the Chiapas region to address a local conservation issue. CLTL – Kenya –Gain conservation-related experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Students complete 9 months of coursework at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and then travel to the Laikipia region of Kenya with a cohort of 5-7 students. This option includes 30-35 days of field trips in Kenya. For their final project, students work in teams and in partnership with local organizations to address a local conservation issue.
