By popular demand and by request, I am posting my Corn Chowder recipe for your dining pleasure! CORN CHOWDER (with potatoes) Ingredients: 6 Med-Large potatoes 1 Large Onion 1 Quart Heavy Whipping Cream 1 Can Whole Kernel Corn (drained leave just a little for flavor) 1 Can Cream Corn Salt Pepper Garlic Powder 2 Sticks Butter (or equivalent I cant believe its not butter which has better taste) Directions: Peel potatoes, cut in cubes (as for potato salad) Boil until done, drain In large sauce pan, put in potatoes and pour in whipping cream In a separate pan place diced onion, put in enough of the butter to crystallize the onion, add salt, pepper, and garlic powder, Once they are crystallized pour that mixture in pot with cream and potatoes. Add both cans of corn, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Taste and season to your own taste, keep in mind the garlic powder brings out the taste in every ingredient. Heat to serving temperature and serve.
