CAF orders Celtic to release the duo In a twist of events, Confederation of African Football (CAF) has ordered South African Premier Soccer League Side Bloemfontein Celtic to release Flames duo of Gabadinho Mhango and Limbikani Nzava for Sunday 2015 Afcon qualifier against Benin. CAFs Deputy General Secretary Essam Ahmed has confirmed the development saying his body has written Celtic a letter demanding them to release the duo for sundays encounter.We have ordered them to release Mhango and Nzava after we received a complaint from Football Association of Malawi concerning the issue so we have intervined and hopefully, Celtic will corporate, Ahmed explained. On their part, Celtic FC Technical Director Mich d Avray says his team will not release the duo saying they are in the teams plans for their mtn 8 encounter. We will not release them. We are prepairing for the mtn 8 and these are our key players, we cant release them, d Avray concluded. Despite this recent development, FAMs CEO Suzgo Nyirenda is adamant that the duo will be released despite sending three back up players to Benin. We are confident that the players will be released. Its a crucial encounter and we need these players, we are not giving up, Nyirenda explained. Malawi will face Benin in the first leg of the qualifiers in Benin on 20th July.......@Andy
