CAFE (The Canadian Association For Equality) is a sham organization; its run by the Mens Rights movement. This group has nothing to do with equality — it is here to defend patriarchy. We live under a patriarchal system, but through education and progress over the last five or six decades, things have been changing for the better (albeit slowly) and patriarchy is waning. It is this societal awakening and trend towards equality that this group opposes. Fear of losing their position of privilege is the motivation for the Mens Rights movement to create such a disingenuous organization. The fact that CAFE just received charitable status in Canada — which means that it was vetted by the Tory government who deemed it favourable — is an unsurprising but upsetting thing.
