CALL FOR APPLICANTS: The Filipino-American City Employees (FACEs) of San José, California, U.S.A. is offering scholarship grants to deserving but financially challenged college bound student in the Philippines. Eligibility requirements are as follows: Must be a Filipino citizen and permanently residing in the Philippines. Must come from a family with total annual household income of P100,000 or less. Must be of good moral character with no criminal or juvenile delinquency records. Must have high school diploma or graduating from high school in March 2014, with a minimum grade average of 80 or has started college with minimum grade average of 2.75 but cannot continue due to financial hardship. Must be able to begin the two year or four year college education by June, 2014 Must be willing and able to begin his/her two or four year college education in the next School Year.
