CALL FOR MUSICIANS: Amicable Congregational Church, UCC in Tiverton, RI will present its second annual Moving to the Music 5K race on Saturday, April 12th at 9 am. The race is a fundraiser for Amicables music and arts programs. The race is held at the beautiful Four Corners Historic District in Tiverton, and Amicable is looking for musicians interested in volunteering to play for about 30-40 minutes at the start and finish lines, and perhaps also at a couple of other spots along the 5K course. While this isnt a paid gig, the race organizers do set up a table to sell your CDs and hand out your promotional materials. Last years musicians played to an audience of several hundred people, including runners, walkers, and spectators. Anyone interested in playing should contact Vaughn Bryner at vaughnbryner@msn.
