CALL FOR PARTNERS !! We need partners from 4 countries, each country will have 5 participants + 1 group leader . Participants must be betwen 18-25 aged , for group leaders have no age limit. As of the Erasmus +, we ask for participants to send us their PIC number and also an agreement for the fully participation of the Project. Title: LETS UNITE OUR HEARTS Venue : DİYARBAKIR / TURKEY Date of arrival: 24.09.2014 Date of Departure: 01.10.2014 SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT : Lets Unite Our Hearts’ projects aim is to gain information and awareness about the concept of voluntering in Diyarbakırs Public. As a result of a street interview about the volunteering which all of the group members attended , lack of the associations and Civil Society Organizations (CSO) we realized that the people who we contacted have never been in a volunteer activities. At the end of the study we forsaw the necessity of a locan implementation plan about volunteering. İn accordance with our goals with visotors from Europe in order to draw attention to volunteering in touristic and crowded places in Diyarbakır, there will be cleaning environment, socialising with the disabled, spend time with orphans and planting trees activities, and in order to get people comprehend volunteering activities and informal education will take place. During these activities every member of groups will be wearing t-shirts with messages on them about our motions for the projects. This will increases the awareness. Through these activities we will demonstrate how young people can act and work together and what they can achieve by “volunteering”. Our group consist of 3 women and 3 men who has awareness of volunteering. Our project aims to raise awareness of volunteering activities. Group members about this topic many trainings, seminars,activities and projects not only in the individual but also worked together with an association. İnspired from these researches we found out that there is not enough willingness as a result of public survey. İn light of this information, with targetting every young person from any age who has interest to volunteerings theme, we decided to write a project in Diyarbakır. In our project named as Lets unite our hearts (Haydi Gönüller Bir Olsun), we prefer crowded areas that more people will have the opportunity of seeing our activities. Our group members and other group members from three countries have the purpose to do an environmental cleaning,sabling planting,visiting historical places with disabled people,doing workshop work voluntarily in Keciburcu which is an historical place,visiting Children Protection Institution and representing a lecture about voluntariness. Since our activities will be in crowded places, we think that it will be better to convey our message by wearing t-shirts and hats which draw attention to voluntarity. Thanks to this, we purpose to draw people’s attention to our activity. Total duration of this project will six months and duration of practice will be seven days.
