Knowsley Safari is on the lookout for the North West’s best and brightest young journalist to report on The Tour of Britain’s Stage 3, 16 km time trial, set to be held at the park on Tuesday, 17 September 2013. The chosen cub reporter will join the world’s press at Knowsley Safari on the day, where they will have a great view of the action and an exclusive chance to interview the riders and attend a mini-press conference after the time trial. Their final report will be hosted on Knowsley Safari’s website and social media channels. Budding reporters aged 9 to 15 years are invited to submit a short video or article telling us why they want to report on the excitement of the event by Monday 16 September. Rachel Scott, Head of Marketing at Knowsley Safari comments: “Last year’s Tour of Britain event was a fantastic community affair with over 3,500 people gathering to see Leigh Howard sprint to victory over the Stage 2 finish line. “This year is set to be bigger and better and our cub reporter will have the opportunity to get right to the heart of the action.” The Tour of Britain is returning to Knowsley Safari Park this year to mark its 10th anniversary.
