CALLED A FANATIC???????????. Someone sends me this message: please help,people do not want to see me because I surrendered to Christ and decided to follow him.They called me a religious fanatic." My brethren,never be discouraged.I want to let you know that you do not belong to the groups of this world.Those who reject you do so because they see you a threat to the idols in their hearts.Your separation from them is a rebuke to their compromise and negative attitude toward God.Moses was rejected by his brethren when he first made attempt to deliver them(Acts 7:23-28).Moses had a vision of what God intended to do but none of his people understood his vision. The world loves lukewarm Christians.Such people do not hurt.They are harmless and helpless.Cast your mind back,as you read this message.Your rejection started from the day you began to hunger and thirst for more of Christ.You renounced all evil ways.You demoted all idols to a second place in your heart.From that day,your attitude towards money changed.Money is important but Christ is more important than money.You saw fame in a different way.Fame is important but Christ is glorious.Your attitude toward pleasure and fun changed in favor of fellowship with the brotherhood of the faith.These are some of the realities that make a true Christian look like a fanatic among his brethren. Jesus said that Christians would be rejected,cast out and stoned.No matter your experience focus on Christ,dig deeper into the word of God.Be determined that all patterns of the old nature must pass away.You must become a new creature inside and outside.Friends and family members may think you are crazy but you are not.You are sent like Moses to deliver them and show them the way to the Promised land. John 15:19"If ye were of the world,the world would love his own:but because ye are not of the world,but I have chosen you out of the world,therefore the world hated you"
