CALLING FOR SUPPORT: PROPOSAL : MALINDANG ECOTRAILS To establish all the foot trails in Mt. Malindang Range Natural Park: (starting in ozamiz city) - by putting up a permanent educational trail signs along the trails of Mt. Malindang which at the same time identifies the Name of Trails, Name of Mountain Range, Name of Peaks, Next Watersource, Campsites, Floras, Trees, Stories, and some other important information about the area. - these Trail Signs must not disturb/damage the ecosystem and the natural state of Mt. Malindang - these Trail Signs must be small size enough to write the information and must have good quality to withstand the extreme condition in order for the trail sign to establish an enjoyable and educational impact for many years. - the Trail Signs can be written in English, Tagalog, Bisaya, or Subanen. - to add safety ropes or ladders in trails that can be dangerous to locals and to visiting people. The purpose for this project are: - to address the issue of being lost in the middle of nowhere - to stay on track while on visit inside the rainforest - to experience an enjoyable hike - to learn about the environment within Mt. Malindang - to assist the locals in identifying the trails for visitors - to inform everyone the importance of our mountain - to inform everyone that we need to protect our mountain Please help add inputs.
