CALMNESS IN CHAOS - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee! The beautiful words of john 14:27 give us hope...Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give unto you. Jesus offers us peace, not as the world gives, but as He alone gives. We can accept His Peace or ignore it. When we accept the peace of jesus Christ into our hearts, our lives are transformed. And then...because we possess the gift of peace...we can share that gift with others. If, on the other hand, we choose to ignore that gift...for whatever reason...we cannot share what we do not possess. As every woman knows, peace can be a scarce commodity in our demanding world. How, then, can we find the peace that we so desperately desire? Elisabeth Elliot writes...If my life is surrendered to God, all is well. Let me not grab it back, as though it were in peril in His Hand but would be safer in mine! May we give our lives, our hopes, and our prayers to the Lord and by doing so, accept His Will and His Peace. Lets please God by actively seeking, through prayer, peaceful and quiet lives for ourselves and others. 1 Timothy 2;1-3). Please & Thank You!
