CAMPA COLA ISSUE : - Having deep concern & being hurt with prevailing crisis of those residents in Campa Cola Society, I , the Legal Adviser of powertoconsumer.in; do intend to share my thoughts with all Readers of this page, Visitors of said website and also with my all FB friends as follows, with my earnest request to them, if any one is concerned or related with aggrieved Flat Owners of said Society, whose flat (s) is at the verge of its Demolition by virtue of Judgment of our Honble Apex Court, to please refer them to have legal assistance in the matter having caused to them a GREAT - LOSS for having no fault; to the website named : powertoconsumer.in & to forward their details by linking it. MY VIEW :- It is the governments fault for creating a situation more than two decades ago when home buyers were not made aware of the law and their rights. The problem begins with the government. “My opinion on this issue is simple and straight forward. What is the fault of the people residing over there? It is the builder who should be punished? Mumbai is a place where getting an accommodation is very difficult. If the court decides and says that there are many flaws in the building, then how it can be the fault of the people residing over there? The residents are not at fault and, I think they should be compensated adequately.” I strongly believe that the developer should shoulder the burden of blame, as well the BMC was at fault for repeatedly turning a blind eye to noticed illegalities. And hence, it is none else but the related Builders / Developers & all the concerned erring Official (s ) of the Authority should & must be penalized by taking shelter of Competent Consumer Court (s). powertoconsumer.in stands fully with cause of all Victims.
