CAN WE PRAY BEHIND THE JALABI ALFAS??? IF NO, DOES THAT MEAN THEY ARE NOT MUSLIMS? Alhamdulillaah, Thummas-Solaatu was-Salaam alaa man laa nbiyya badah... Of course if hes a muslim well pray behind him but since hes fallen into a shirk act that is known to us, then praying behind him will be useless as he (the baba alawo called alfa) himself cant have the reward of the Solah till he repents from the shirk act. But there are certain conditions before you regard anyone a Mushrik/Kaafir for commting a Shirk or Kufr act... Firstly, we have to know if hes not mad, because the Prophet (Sollallaahu alaehi wa sallam) said The pen is raised from three: The one sleeping until he wakes up; Child until he reaches age of puberty; Insane until he comes to his senses. Tirmidhiy, 1343 Nasaai 3032 Then we must know if he didnt forget or did that mistakingly, as Allah (Subhaanahu wa Taaala) says Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error... Qur-aan 2 verse 286 If the above are cleared then Bayaanul hujjah {explanation of evidence} must be presented to this person as he may not know of the evil behind what hes doing in Shareeah {Allaahs law}, no be all of them keun as you see them so. If he insists on the act after providing evidences for him that knowing the unseen is for Allaah {Alone}, and whoever tries to claim that quality cant be a muslim {detailed explanation must come first}. Here are very few among our evidences: The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘alaehi wa sallam) said: “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days.” Saheeh Muslim 2230 Here we have seen that the prayer of who visits the LIARS wont be accepted for 40 days which the person must not bring with its conditions {even though they wont be accepted}, now whats the persons case if he believes the soothsayer??? The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘alaehi wa Sallam) said: “Whoever comes to a fortune-teller or soothsayer and believes him has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad.” Musnad Ahmad 9171 and classed as Saheeh by Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 5942 Toh, here the Prophet (Solla-Allaahu alaehi wa sallam) said if you believe the BLOODY FOOL you have disbelieved in what is revealed to him (the Qur-aan and Sunnah) i.e the person has disbelieved, until he repents from the act. Now to the case of who sits down down as if hes the Creator (Allaah {Subhaanahu wa Taaala}) who knows all, that asks people to come and check their future or to bring all their problems to him that hell help them solve it. Just imagine! Alhamdulillaah we muslims have known that its only Allaah we ask for all. Allaah says You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). Qur-aan 1 verse 5 Please how then can such a person be a muslim after all these explanations are made to him and he still insists on such path {that he knows what is hidden}? Allaah made us know that He only knows the unseen. Allaah (Subhanahu wa Ta‘aala) says: “None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (unseen) except Allâh, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected Qur-aan 27 verse 65 Even our Prophet Muhammad and other Prophets (Alaehimus-solaatu was-salaam) know nothing about the unseen, Subhaanallaah! Except the very few things Allaah made them know in order for the people they {the messengers} sent to believe that truly they are Allaahs messengers. Allaah (Subhanahu wa Ta ‘aala) says: Say (O Muhammad): “I know not whether (the punishment) which you are promised is near or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term.”(He Alone is) the All-Knower of the Ghâ’ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Ghâ’ib (unseen).” Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him Qur-aan 72 verse 25-27 Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta ‘aala) also says: Say (O Muhammad): “I don’t tell you that with me are the treasures of Allaah, nor (that) I know the unseen; nor I tell you that I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me by inspiration.” Say: “Are the blind and the one who sees equal? Will you not then take thought? Qur-aan 6 verse 50 Infact even the Jinns some of these soothsayers use at times gan know nothing about the unseen. Allaah (Subhanahu wa Ta‘aala) says: Then when We decreed death for him [Sulaimân], nothing informed them (jinns) of his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his stick, so when he fell down, the jinns saw clearly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment Qur-aan 34 verse 14 Subhaanallaah! Why then will a muslim be deceived by these bunch of LIARS that claim to know the unseen that the best of Mankind never claimed, lets be wise fa. So their Judgement in Shareeah is that they are out of Islaam because they have attached to themselves what only Allaah knows, dont forget you dont regard them kaafiroon/Mushrikoon until the above conditions are complete. Most especially, after you have established evidences for them and if they still insist then they are out. We call this Ash-Shirk bi Rububiyyatillaah. Some may say Shebi they still say Laa ilaaha illallaah, just ask them the conditions of Laa ilaaha illallaah? Because if they know the meaning of the reality of the kalimah, one will never think of sitting down not to talk saying he has the knowledge of the unseen. Wallaahu alam. May Allaah continue to guide us to the straight path.
