CANCELED! The 2013 Savary Island Triathlon was scheduled to proceed as planned until this morning AUG. 14th, when a hostile group on Savary island called ASIC slandered and libeled the triathlon so badly, that at this point, the damage is too much to over come. Their motivation had nothing to do with safety concerns, or insurance, or permits; it was probably many, but one main one was the triathlon coincided with their meeting. When Mike Wall, Janine Reimer, Dan MacIntyre, Bud Graham, advocates of ASIC, found out that they could not stop the triathlon legally, they choose to go after the heart of the triathlon: which is the people in it. They have caused so much confusion and cast such a negative light and been so egregiously hostile to this loved event, and indicated that they will continue to sabotage it, that they have successfully forced its cancelation.
