CANCELLATION OF SEVERE WEATHER WARNING IDS65503 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology South Australia Regional Office TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST CANCELLATION SEVERE WEATHER WARNING Issued at 6:25 pm Tuesday, 9 September 2014. Todays cold front is now moving over the eastern border parts of the State. While winds will continue to be fresh to strong and gusty this evening, particularly near showers, they are no longer expected to be damaging. Wind gusts of 80-90 km/h were reported from many locations today. The highest recorded gusts were 93 km/h at Yunta at 4:30 pm and 91 km/h at Port Augusta at 3 pm. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Keep clear of fallen power lines; * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road. * Dont drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureaus website at bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 215. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
