It is our belief that through offering educational programs, we allow motivated individuals to empower themselves and improve their individual situations. Further, our focus on Arts and Technology allows participants to thrive in a world where innovation and technology skills are in increasing demand. We are currently offering programs specifically in Music Education, Computer Programming, and Robotics and Electronics. GTBC Community is looking for caring professionals who will mentor youth from grades 6 through 10. The position is a CEO grant-funded with a commitment for one year and year-to-year renewals. Position Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Position Requirements/ General skills Electronics & Computer program Directors: ( Licensed –Certified Educator/or Industry Professional) Under the guidance of the GTBC board of Directors and having ability to make independent decisions the program directors: 1. Oversee and consult program instructors with learning tutorials used in the program to include: (a) Arduino microcontroller projects (Electronics) (b) C++ / Java programming from Lynda tutorials and exercise files. 2. Review 10 week course syllabus and assist in implementation of large scale program. 3. Evaluate programs weekly performance (from data collected) and suggest quality control program. 4. Complies weekly results in technical form such as tables, reports and graphics to support Executive staff. 5. Prepares budget summary 6.
