CASTING CALL Two lead actresses wanted, playing age between 20-35. Im making a short ten minute drama called Smiley Faces centred around a young lesbian couple, Sam and Lucy. The film details their relationship and how it is affected when Lucy is diagnosed with MS. She has been fearfully hiding the symptoms and spirals into depression after her doctor tells her the likely cause. The threat of losing her career and her independence strikes her to the very core. It takes the love of Sam to bring her back from the brink. The deadline for film completion is April 28. Well be looking to hold auditions at the end of the month and then head straight into filming over the course of 3 to 4 days. Filming will take place primarily in Stirling. The actresses playing ages should be roughly between early 20s and mid 30s, although finding the right actress for the part is most important so we are flexible.
