CAT UP A TREE DILEMMA...NOT KIDDING! AND NO, OUR TRUCK AINT RUN INTO A TREE. As Ive done every night all of their lives, I called for Spic and Span to put them in the basement and safe from coyotes as darkness approached this evening. Spic was all tucked in early, but there was no sight of Span until I finally heard it...a yelling meow (mama, mama) from across the road past a clearing and near the edge of the woods. Flashlight in hand and waist deep in briars, there I found him up a skinny pine with no limbs until the first one he has planted himself on about 30 ft. up. Not a budge to move in the last two hours! The extension ladder only goes to 18 ft., so long story short---our big four wheel drive SUV is pulled into somebody elses woods, parked at the base of that tree, locked up, and with blankets, food, and water on top of it in hopes hell hop down to at least that point by morning. PRAYERS PLZ FOR SPAN AND HIS CRAZY MAMA.
