CAT notification is out and this time major change in CAT pattern and conduction. Salient Points: 1. IIM-Indore will be conducting the test for the second consecutive time. 2. Time limit changed: Test time limit increased from 140 minutes to 170 minutes. 3. No. of questions increased: CAT still will be two sections, but each section will have 50 questions each instead of 30 questions like in previous years. 4. No Sectional Time Limit: Candidates will be able to switch from one section to another during the test hence no time bound sections this year. 5. Only 2 days and 4 slots: The CAT 2014 will be conducted only on November 16 and November 22 in forenoon and afternoon sessions. 6. Students cannot choose their dates. 7. The registration for the CAT 2014 opens from August 6 and closes on September 30. Students will be able to download admit card from October 16. 8. The results will be declared in the third week of December 2014.
