CCADEMIA RIACI ANNOUNCES THE INTERNATIONAL ART & DESIGN COMPETITION 2014 FLORENCE - Accademia Riaci, an art & design institute dedicated to the transmission of Italian artistic traditions, has launched its 2014 edition of “INTERNATIONAL ART & DESIGN COMPETITION 2014” in May of this year. The registration deadline is October 15, 2014. The contest divides partecipants in 2 categories, depending on the individual level of expertise, and is open to students, amateurs as well as professionals worldwide, related to the following fields: Jewelry Making Jewelry Design Interior Design Illustration Painting The main purpose of the contest is to contribute to the promotion and internationalization of the entire Italian Art, Design and Crafts industries, by discovering new artists, fostering their talents, and in the meantime promoting study abroad in Italy. The top prizes winners can receive the full tuition fee for 1 academic year as scholarship ( ? 15,000 for One Year course, ? 16,600 for Master course) from September 2015. The winners of 2nd and 3rd positions can receive partial tuition scholarship. Finals judges will be members of Accademia Riaci faculty, composed by leading professionals deeply connected with the city of Florence and representative of its identity. All the applicants works will be received by December 15, 2014, and the result will be issued by January 20, 2015.
