CCM Wednesday Climb The people have spoken While not overwhelming the survey did show a clear preference The CCM will move its winter indoor climbing to Central Rock Gym in Glastonbury and traditional après climb to Giovannis starting this Wednesday. Because of the new venue and because pizza and Sammie prices will need to be increased from $15 to $18 (see below) this will be a one month trial. If sufficient numbers do not attend we will move back to Wallingford Date: This Wednesday Time: Climb 4:00 – 8:00 Place: Central Rock Gym – see website for directions centralrockgym/glastonbury.php Apres Climb – Giovanni’s Pizzeria 113 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT Weekly Climbing Etiquette If you own a rope, bring it If you bring a rope, set it up If you dont own a rope, think about getting one or ask for a top rope anchor If you dont know how to set an anchor, ask an experienced person for instructions If other climbers are at the cliff, let them know they can use our ropes If it appears you are the last climber on a rope, ask, then breakdown the setup If ropes are dropped, dont ask, just coil When done, go to Saxs Pizza Pizza Etiquette If you have pizza and beer, cost $18 If you have just pizza, cost $10 If you have just beer, cost $8 If you have salad, $7 extra If you dont want pizza, beer or salad, come anyway When glasses are full, toast the Chief and Dennis
