CCR...Mr.Currys Poetry Corner...My skin is colored by the earth & the sun...Im a Black man & I believe we all are one.. Since 2007 are country has been in an uproar! Angry about our Black President! Causing an division amongst the people... A nationwide civil war!!! Talking about our nations leader because of the pigment of his skin! Looking over the fact... his mom is Caucasian....yet some use the word n*##@ so freely as if its a everyday thing... Not knowing the pain it has caused & the very things we dont know about ...we tend to depict! Such as pick a n*##@ & hang him as they picnicd!!! Im not a racist! I just believe in the truth! The truth use to set you free! Now its hell on earth in the streets! 2014 you gotta watch out for court held in the streets! All because some cops are true cowards & afraid of our seeds may once again sit on top! All this separation & violence in the Land of the Free needs to stop! Yet the government wants you to stay high, drink & dumb to the facts! We may thought weve overcome! Yet its a racial combat!!! One Love! W/by David Curry for CCR...
