CCTV images could nail race hate car attack driver in Bolton, Greater Manchester CCTV images are expected to nail a driver who deliberately ploughed-down a man in a McDonald’s car park in Greater Manchester. The 32-year-old victim was left with horror injuries after a he was hit by a car driving at speed in the restaurant car park in Bolton. Police are investigating a possible racist motive for the attack. The victim suffered severe fractures to his legs, body and face following the attack, that happened about on Friday 5th July in the car park at China Gardens in Derby Street. He was with a group of his friend and became embroiled in a verbal altercation with another group who were also at the restaurant at about 11.40pm The second group split up in two separate cars, one of which drove off while the other drove at speed and struck the victim throwing him into the air. He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries and remains in a serious but stable condition. The injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Neither car stopped at the scene following the incident.
