CDC is the most confuse, misplaced and disorganized political party in Liberia. WHO DO YOU TAKE SERIOUS Chairman George Solo or CDC-USA Chairman Isaac Vah Tukpah? Chairman George Solo said ”If you want to be a member of the CDC it is your constitutional right but if you want to contest in Montserrado on the CDC, I will not support you. If you want to become standard bearer for the CDC come 2017 I will not support you. I will not vote for anyone wanting to be senator for Montserrado County and standard bearer for the CDC.” Isaac Vah Tukpah said George Solo, as an individual, has the RIGHT to say he will support Ambassador Weah and encourage other Executives to vote for him in a primary. However, as the Chairman of the party, that is politically incorrect. Isaac Vah Tupkah also warned George Solo for displaying his ignorance.... Anybody who believes the statement about the purpose of the CDC made by Chairman Solo is in the CDC for the wrong reason. The foundation of the CDC is to promote the dreams and aspirations of the Liberian people to have the opportunity to earn an affordable living and correct many of the structural wrongs of the past. An INSTITUTION cannot be built on ONE MAN. All CDCians who feel the CDC was designed for this purpose, need to read the history of the CDC (cdcliberia.org/ab/pages/history.php). I know, I and many others did not join the CDC to promote one individual, George Weah or whomever. Surely Amb. Weah has been and is the face of the party, the political leader, and is the most popular CDCian, if not Liberian. Nonetheless, an organization built around one man is bound to fail. So I suggest that all the CDCians who share the mindset expressed by Chairman Solo and Mr. Cole to begin to re-orient themselves on the fundamental purpose of the CDC and join those who are in the CDC to build an institution for the ages. It is urgent and necessary that those who really share like minds in the CDC will work together to accomplish the fundamental goal of the CDC if we are ever to win power. Isaac Vah Tukpah has decided to educate George Solo and others executive of the CDC I will tell Chairman Solo the same thing below. After Sam Mannah intervened with a rational interjection that he doesnt think calling for folks to resign from CDC because of their diverse views of the fundamental purpose of the formation of the CDC is the best way to go. If anything, we should be trying to educate these people on why CDC was founded, not try to ask for their resignation from the party, I changed my mind and decided to use this as a teaching moment. if we should take CDC USA chairman(Isaac Vah Tukpah) serious that he and others will take the responsibility to educate CDC executive members of the party including George Solo about the founding purpose of the CDC, so my question is why George Solo was elected as party chairman, if he do not know the background of the party?? why elect someone who is novice to politic as chairman for a political party?
