CELEBRATION OF GODS FAITHFULNESS....It was a celebration galore for the family of HON.ABEL IKOGI ADIKPE, fondly and popularly called Ab-West for his recovery from a protracted illness. The thanksgiving was held at the Bethel Methodist Church,Gboko,Benue State where the celebrant together with his family rolled out drums to appreciate God for His unwavering faithfulness. It could be recalled that Hon. Abel Ikogi,the celebrant, took ill on 16th August,2013 prior to Igede National Conference which he loved so much to attend but could not due to the illness. The ailment which initially passed for a stress owing to his many engagements degenerated,resulting in his visiting several hospitals like FMC,Makurdi,BSUTH Makurdi,ST.Theresa,Makurdi,Premium hospitals,Abuja,JUTH,Jos etc and was billed for a trip abroad when the Almighty Physician intervened. He was joined in the celebration by the indefatiquable political leader of Igede Nation, Rt.Hon. Samson Okwu,Member,House of Representative,representing Oju/Obi Federal constituency. In his remarks, Samson Okwu said He has always trusted God and adjudged him faithful,maintaining that he knew his friend,Ab-West,will be hale and hearty again and appreciated God for not failing him. The thanksgiving ceremony also put to rest callous insinuations that Ab-west has pitched his tent with a strange bedfellow as the duo, Ab-west and Samson Okwu had a good time discussing politics and sundry issues. Also present were former deputy Speaker of Benue state House of Assembly,Hon. William O. Edor,Bar.Obande Idikwu,and the host of others.The family decided to celebrate this in a low key and so does not attract the expected crowd characteristic of Ab-west.Join us in thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness in our family.
